[POEM] The Composition of Equal Parts

To live upon this world,
one needs to embrace both the lightness and the dark,
the serenity and the storm,
and the chaos in the calm,
each a vital part to the other’s earthsong.

Without darkness,
how would we know the dawn?
Without sorrow,
where does joy belong?

The true lesson, the path, is a delicate dance,
a precarious balance,
to hold both in the heart,
equal parts,
yet neither overlong.
